BEUKENHOF

One of the many castles in the town Kapellen is Beukenhof one of the more important ones. It was constructed in 1827 and was the home for Squire van Vredenburgh since 1902. The town buys the castle after he passed away. They start using it as town hall in 1974. Now it is used only for wedding ceremonies and meetings for the town council. The castle underwent a restoration in 2000. You can admire the chateau from all sides as it is located in a small public park.
