CASTA

The remains of castle Casta can be found in the little village Bornival. The first Liege settles in this area in the beginning of the 12th century and he erects a castle. One of the most well known guests who stayed in the castle was Queen Christine of Zweden. The castle is neglected in the 18th century and locals use the decaying castle as a stone quarry.
The only thing left of this one's impressive castle are two towers that are now part of a farm. The towers can be viewed from the public road.
