HAVERSIN

The yellow castle of Haversin dates back to the 17th century. It belonged once to the Bonhomme family who delivered two majors for the village. Around 1920 the castle came into the hands of the Ribeaucourt family and later on it became property of the Harcourt family. In the late 1970's it was used for 4 years as a private school. In 1986 the castle was bought by the entrepreneur Janssens who restored it completely. The castle is private property but can be viewed from the public road.
