OMAL TOWER + CASTLE

This ruined tower was built by the Mollin-Menjoye family in 1625. It was used as a refuge for the locals in troubled times.
The tower stands close to the site of the ancient castle of Omal. The current house was built in the 18th century on top of the foundations of the old stronghold. Both historical buildings can be viewed from the public road.
